Developing an estate plan requires careful thought and execution. Our firm goes to great lengths to ensure that all areas are covered and documented so there is no room for question or error. With Kraft Law Firm, P.C. by your side you can feel safe in knowing that your estate plan is accurate, complete and legally binding.
Probate
Probate is the process through which the assets in an individual's estate are transferred to a beneficiary upon that individual's death. The probate courts oversee the probate process and are charged with seeing that the decedent's will is enforced. The probate court also sees that a person's estate is distributed and that debts are handled if there is no will. The attorneys at Kraft Law Firm, PC. will educate and represent you through the probate process.
Estate administration
The firm can assist clients in administering the estate. Kraft Law Firm, P.C., probate lawyers also educate clients about which assets are non-probate assets and which assets will have to proceed through the probate process, if applicable. This can often be a complex process, and having the guidance of an experienced estate administration lawyer can expedite the process in many cases. When wills are contested or the estate requires supervised and / or formal administration, the estate administration process may take some time to resolve, as the matter must be handled in court.
Guardianships and conservatorships
A guardianship occurs when a court appoints a person to care for someone who is not able to take care of themselves. The person caring for the other person is known as a guardian, and the person being cared for is known as the ward. A conservatorship is similar, although it relates to a person’s estate including their financial affairs. Kraft Law Firm, P.C., is able to provide competent and sensitive representation in these often delicate situations.

Before heading into a real estate venture you should consult with a knowledgeable attorney. At Kraft Law Firm, P.C. we provide our clients with the benefit of our experience. We aid you in reviewing and drafting all documents, ensuring that your best interests are being served.
